Kaa slithers back up the tree, his belly heavy and shifting, a faint outline of his prey visible beneath the scales.
Inside, Ladybug and Chat Noir regain fleeting awareness, panic flashing in their eyes as they push against the slick, constricting walls. Hot digestive fluids begin to fill the chamber, stinging their skin and dissolving their suits. Ladybug lets out a quiet sob, Chat Noir clutching her hand as their bodies begin to weaken. Tears mingle with sweat as the pain grows, the heroes crying softly in the darkness, their strength fading in Kaa’s relentless embrace.
