Ethan, a curious twelve-year-old with messy brown hair, lounges on his bed, flipping through a comic book. His older sister, Samantha, age fifteen, stands by the dresser, her eyes twinkling with mischief as she sorts through a pile of freshly washed clothes. The morning feels ordinary, but the glint in Samantha's eyes hints at playful trouble ahead.
"Hey Ethan, want to try something fun?"
Ethan looks up from his comic, skeptical but intrigued. Samantha holds up a bright pink bra, waving it like a victory flag.
"Trust me, it’s for a science experiment. I need your help for a school project,"
Ethan hesitates, glancing between his sister and the unusual garment.
"Are you sure this isn't some kind of trick?"
"Come on, Ethan! It'll only take a minute. Plus, you’ll get ice cream afterward,"
Ethan, feeling a mix of embarrassment and curiosity, slips his arms into the bra straps, fumbling with the unfamiliar clasps. Samantha suppresses a giggle, snapping a quick photo with her phone.
"Okay, now what?"
"You look fabulous! Maybe you should wear it more often," she teases, unable to hide her laughter any longer.
Ethan, cheeks flushed, realizes he's been duped as Samantha shows him the photo and bursts into laughter. The room is filled with the warm sounds of their playful banter and the distant clatter of dinner being prepared in the kitchen.
"Samantha! You promised this was for science!"
"Well, it was a social experiment… to see how gullible my little brother is!"
Samantha, feeling a pang of guilt, hands Ethan a double-scoop ice cream cone as a peace offering.
"Sorry, Ethan. I guess I got carried away. Next time, you get to prank me,"
Ethan grins, his embarrassment fading as he takes a bite of his favorite flavor.
"Deal. And I’m going to make it epic,"
Ethan leans against Samantha, both of them savoring their ice cream and the comfort of their shared mischief. The gentle night air carries their laughter into the darkness, promising more adventures ahead.
