Ezili and Sauda strolled through the bustling market, their eyes wide with delight at the colorful bounty before them. "I can't believe how hungry I am all the time now," Ezili said, her hand resting on her growing belly.
"It's like I have a bottomless pit for a stomach," Sauda agreed with a laugh, picking up a juicy mango and taking a bite. The sweet, tangy juice dripped down her chin, and she wiped it away with a satisfied sigh.
Corvus, a tall figure with a gentle smile, placed a protective arm around Ezili's shoulders. "I found some of those honey-dipped bananas you love," he said, handing her a small bag.
Etienne, with his youthful exuberance, grinned at Sauda. "And I got you some coconut candies," he added, offering the sweet treats.
Ezili gazed at the fireflies, her thoughts drifting. "It's amazing how life is changing," she mused, feeling the gentle flutter of life within her.
Sauda nodded in agreement, her eyes reflecting the soft light of the fireflies. "I can't wait to see what the future holds for us," she replied, a smile playing on her lips.
Corvus looked at Ezili with a tenderness that spoke of endless support. "No matter what happens, we'll face it together," he promised, his voice steady and reassuring.
"And with all the new adventures awaiting us, there's nothing we can't handle," Etienne added, his optimism infectious.
"We should probably head back before we eat the entire market," Ezili joked, standing up and stretching.
"Agreed, but not before one last treat," Sauda giggled, reaching for another piece of fruit.
Corvus and Etienne shared a knowing look, understanding the journey they were about to embark on was just beginning. The world around them was changing, filled with wonder and excitement, and they were ready to embrace it, hand in hand with their beloveds.
