Sonic paced back and forth in the living room, his usual speed tempered by anticipation. Amy sat on the couch, her hands resting on her belly, a serene smile on her face. "I can't believe the day is almost here," he remarked, glancing at Amy. "It's exciting and a little nerve-wracking," she admitted, her eyes sparkling with joy.
Amy carefully arranged the stuffed animals on a shelf, ensuring everything was perfect for their arrival. Sonic was busy assembling a mobile, his hands surprisingly nimble as he worked. "Do you think they'll like it?" he asked, glancing over at Amy. "They'll love it," she replied, her voice filled with confidence and love.
Sonic and Amy sat together, their fingers intertwined as they watched the stars from their window. "We've been on so many adventures, but this might be the biggest one yet," Sonic mused. "And the most rewarding," Amy added, resting her head on his shoulder.
Sonic and Amy looked at each other, tears of joy in their eyes as they held their newborns for the first time. "They're perfect," Sonic whispered, his voice filled with awe. "Our little miracles," Amy agreed, her heart overflowing with love.
Amy gently rocked one of the twins, her eyes never leaving the peaceful face of her child. Sonic stood beside her, cradling the other twin, a proud smile on his face. "Here's to our new adventure," he said, his voice full of warmth and determination. "The best one yet," Amy replied, as they embraced the future together.
