Elisa absentmindedly stirs her tea, glancing at her sisters with a nervous smile. There is an undercurrent of tension as each sister seems distracted, their gazes flicking to the small, unopened envelopes in front of them. Moana's hand trembles as she reaches for hers, while Sophia tries to mask her apprehension with a joke.
"Is this... real?"
"I thought it was just a stomach bug,"
"We can't all be... pregnant. At the same time?"
The sisters exchange wide-eyed glances, shock and disbelief mingling with nervous laughter as the truth sinks in.
Elisa hugs a pillow to her chest, her voice barely above a whisper.
"I was scared to tell you both. But now that we know... I don't feel so alone."
Moana reaches for her sisters' hands, tears glistening in her eyes.
"Whatever happens, we'll face it together. Like we always have."
Sophia flips through a baby names book, trying to lighten the mood.
"If we all have girls, we could name them after flowers. Or maybe planets!"
"Or we could just focus on getting through the next nine months,"
Laughter erupts, breaking the tension, as the sisters begin to make lists and plans, each uncertain but hopeful.
"We have something important to tell you,"
The moment is tense, but the sisters draw strength from each other. Their parents’ shock soon gives way to understanding and support, a tearful group hug sealing their new reality.
Elisa glances at her sisters, determination in her eyes.
"No matter what, we have each other. That’s all we need."
Moana and Sophia nod, their arms linked, ready to face the unknown—together.
