David strolled along the beach with his children, Kayla, Jon, and Gabie, each step leaving a temporary imprint on the wet sand.
"Do you see how the waves wash away our footprints?" David asked, pointing to the disappearing marks.
"Yes, they vanish just like that," Kayla responded, her eyes wide with wonder.
David sat on a large piece of driftwood, beckoning his children to join him.
"Why do we talk about Jesus so often, Dad?" Jon asked, curiosity evident in his tone.
"Well, it's like the ocean," David explained. "Just as the sea is vast and deep, so is His love and salvation. It's endless and always present."
"Does that mean He washes away our bad things too?" Gabie chimed in, her voice soft.
David nodded, placing a reassuring hand on Gabie's shoulder.
"Exactly, Gabie. Just like the waves cleanse the shore," he said. "Through Jesus, our mistakes are forgiven, and we're given a fresh start."
"That's comforting to know," Kayla said, her gaze fixed on the horizon.
Jon leaned back, resting his head against the driftwood.
"So, salvation is like having a clean slate?" he asked.
"Yes, Jon," David replied, smiling warmly. "It's about having the chance to be better and live in His light every day."
"I like talking about this," Gabie said, her small hand slipping into David's.
"Me too, Gabie," David responded. "It's important to understand and feel His love in our lives."
As they walked, the family's laughter mingled with the sound of the sea, a harmonious blend of joy and faith.
