It was a day like any other. The world moved forward, blind to what was about to unfold. On crowded streets, children laughed, vendors hawked their wares, and office workers sipped coffee beneath neon signs. The sky stretched blue and endless above, promising nothing out of the ordinary.
Suddenly, the heavens began to change. A light, pure and incomprehensible, split the sky as if the very fabric of reality had been torn open. Eyes lifted instinctively, confusion rippling through the crowds as day transformed into a spectacle of celestial glory. The noise of the city faded, replaced by a silence so profound it trembled in the bones.
And then, within the heart of the light, appeared Jesus Christ, the King of Kings. He descended in glory, surrounded by hosts of angels whose faces shone with the fire of heaven. Their voices rang out, unified and thunderous. "Behold, Jesus comes!" The trumpet that accompanied their declaration echoed through valleys and cities, an unfathomable sound that called every soul to attention.
The nations trembled. Some hid, desperate for the rocks to shield them from the overwhelming presence of Jesus. Others, filled with hope and longing, cried tears of joy as they recognized the One they had awaited. A young mother, clutching her child, whispered in awe, "This is Jesus, our God; we have waited for Him!" All around, the ground quivered as graves burst open and the righteous dead rose, their faces alight with wonder.
In an instant, those alive who loved Jesus felt their bodies change. Pain, sorrow, and age melted away, replaced by strength and joy beyond imagination. They rose, lifted by invisible hands, joining the newly resurrected to meet Jesus in the clouds. The wicked shuddered, unable to endure the glory that radiated from His face, and the old world began to crumble, its darkness swept away by the command of the King.
Jesus spoke, His voice tender yet powerful, echoing across the universe. "Come, you blessed of My Father… enter the kingdom I, Jesus, have prepared for you." The old had ended, and eternity began. Death was banished forever, and joy overflowed as the redeemed entered life everlasting with Jesus, where sorrow would never return and love would reign eternally.
