The Almighty, in His infinite wisdom, decided to create a vicegerent on earth. He shaped Adam from clay, breathing His spirit into him. "Be," He said, and Adam was. The angels watched in awe, their light-filled faces reflecting the glory of creation.
Adam lived in paradise, surrounded by beauty and abundance. Yet, he felt a sense of incompleteness. The Almighty, in His mercy, created Eve from Adam's rib to be his companion. "You are not alone anymore," Eve said, her voice as soothing as the soft rustle of the leaves.
The Almighty had given Adam and Eve free will, but with a simple command: "Do not approach this tree," He warned, His voice echoing with wisdom and caution. Yet, the whisperings of Iblis, the deceiver, began to sow seeds of doubt in their hearts.
Iblis approached the couple with deceitful words, "Would you not like to live forever? To become like the angels?" he coaxed, his voice as smooth as silk. Torn between obedience and curiosity, Adam and Eve listened, their resolve wavering.
Unable to resist the temptation, Adam and Eve tasted the fruit. Instantly, the innocence of paradise faded, and they became aware of their nakedness. "What have we done?" Adam cried, his heart heavy with regret and sorrow.
The Almighty, in His boundless mercy, forgave them, though they were sent to earth to live and learn from their actions. "Repent and seek guidance," He advised, His voice a beacon of hope. Adam and Eve understood their purpose, to strive for righteousness and return to His grace.
