Ken Bars, towering at 6’1” and rippling with muscle, stands near the concession counter in nothing but dark brown briefs. His bronzed skin glistens under the fluorescent bulbs, drawing stares from awestruck moviegoers. A banner overhead proudly announces his recent “Best Built Man U.S.A.” award, and whispers fill the crowd about his Hollywood stardom.
"Ladies and gentlemen, feast your eyes on the strongest Tarzan ever to grace the silver screen!", Ken bellows, flexing his mighty arms and expanding his chest to the delight of the women clustered nearby.
Bob, a local salesman known more for his quick wit than physical prowess, stands before Ken. The crowd hushes as he raises his voice, challenging the reigning muscleman.
"HEY YOU MUSCLED GORILLA, HOW ABOUT A FIGHT?"
"YOU STRINGBEAN DON’T WANT ANY OF THIS," Ken retorts, flexing for the crowd, especially the swooning women. The atmosphere crackles with tension, as murmurs ripple through the onlookers.
Ken swings twice, his fists slicing the air just inches from Bob’s face. Bob ducks and weaves, moving with surprising speed and agility, his eyes focused and his stance balanced.
"Watch the Best Built Man mop up the floor with this loser!"
Ken’s confidence is palpable, but Bob’s movements hint at something unexpected.
Bob delivers a rapid series of blows—first to Ken’s chest, then his jaw, then back again. Ken’s face contorts with pain as he staggers, disbelief washing over his features.
"Shit!", Ken barks as another punch lands squarely on his jaw. The women who moments ago admired Ken now gasp, some even cheering for the underdog.
The crowd erupts in astonishment and laughter, some applauding Bob’s unexpected victory. Ken’s career, once gilded and untouchable, falters in the glow of neon and starlight. Bob stands tall, his quickness and speed outshining brute strength.
"Quickness and speed will beat a muscleman every time,", Bob says, his eyes shining with triumph. Ken, humbled, disappears into the night as Bob’s legend begins to grow. The lights of Troy flicker, marking the end of an era and the rise of a new hero.
