Anna set her glass down and stretched her arms, her eyes wandering to the nearby gym equipment. Rick noticed her gaze and chuckled. "Thinking about working out again, sis?" he teased. "Yeah, I am," Anna replied with determination, "I want to get stronger and maybe even surprise you one day."
Anna's muscles strained as she pushed through another set of squats. Sweat dripped down her forehead, but she felt invigorated. Her brother Rick popped his head in, curious about her progress. "You're really going at it, huh?" he remarked, impressed. "I have a goal," Anna replied between breaths, "and I'm not stopping until I reach it."
As she ran, Anna felt the changes in her body—the ease of movement, the power in her legs. She passed Rick, who was stretching by the path, and waved cheerfully. "Wow, you're fast!" he shouted after her, a note of admiration in his voice. Anna just grinned, feeling the satisfaction of her hard work paying off.
Relatives marveled at Anna's transformation, commenting on her strength and poise. Rick, although initially surprised, was proud of his sister's accomplishments. "I guess the tables have turned," he joked, nudging her playfully. "Looks like it," Anna replied with a smile, "but don't worry, I'll still let you win at video games."
Rick turned to Anna, his expression thoughtful. "You've really grown, Anna. Not just physically, but in every way," he said sincerely. Anna nodded, her heart full of gratitude. "Thanks, Rick. You've always been there for me. And I promise to always be there for you, too," she replied, sealing their bond with a hug.
